BCP has venues sitting quiet during the week. Cafés, pubs, halls, shops that could be full of people connecting, swapping skills, celebrating local business.
We’re looking for spaces willing to open their doors.
WHAT IS STEP UP SPACES?
How it works: a venue tells us what they have and when it sits quiet. We bring the event, the people and the energy. New faces discover the venue, business owners get a place to gather, and money stays local.
A few ideas already in the works:
- Community Celebration. Festival energy, without the chaos. Local businesses, makers, food and drink, one per town.
- Skill Swap Speed Dating. Yes, exactly what it sounds like. We match you up, you bring the conversation.
- Pub Desking. Because nobody does their best work staring at their kitchen wall. Good coffee, other business owners nearby, your laptop actually getting used.
- Pull Up a Chair. No agenda, no pitch. Just a marked table and an open seat, for whoever needs one.
We don’t have a fixed format. We’d rather work it out together with the spaces who want in.
